Latin Gold Limited ("Latin Gold") is an ASX listed company pursuing primarily gold but also base metal resource development opportunities in South America. Latin Gold currently have two projects; the Paron gold project in Ancash Department of Peru and the Coyhaique gold project in region XI of Chile. Latin Gold is currently exploring the Paron gold project in Peru and expects to commence a drilling campaign at Paron in October 2006. The company is also looking for a new joint venture partner for the Coyhaique Gold project.
Latin Gold has been active in Latin America since 2003 and is based from an operations view point in Peru with its main office in Miraflores in Lima and a field office at the Paron project near the town of Caraz, which is 448 km's from Lima and 16 km's from the Paron gold project. The company maintains a corporate office in Perth, Western Australia.

Name Change
Latin Gold Limited has recently changed it name. It was previously known as Westmag Limited. The Directors of Latin Gold Limited believe this names better reflects it's current activities and future direction.
